Kindyktykul – mountain lake

Kindyktykul (Kindıktikul) lake; alt. kindyk— navel, umbilical cord; alt. köl — lake . Kindyktykul köl — a lake with a navel, possibly with a center.

Crystal clear water and snow-capped peaks. High in the mountains – 2100 meters above sea level. A mountain lake with Sun and Sky making an ancient magical dance on its surface.

Route

The lake is rather far from the camping, so it takes time to get there. But an excitement the place gives worth your patience. The route won`t be boring though – along the way there will be beautiful views and interesting monuments of archeology. We will visit the valley of the river Yustid, see the koumiss farm, and pass along the Mongolian border. We’ll see everything, touch everything …
